Baeren Brewery will hold the eve celebration for Spring Fest 2026 on May 2. The venue will be a special site within the grounds of the company’s main brewery in Kitayama, Morioka, and hours will be from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Food vendors will operate until 3:00 p.m.
A defining feature of this eve event is that it is designed for easy drop-in attendance with no advance ticket required. Beer will be offered in four varieties, at 500 yen per glass. In addition, if you bring a past Baeren event mug, you can enjoy a glass for 400 yen. Food will be provided by the directly operated restaurant (Ekimae branch) and Polestar Farm, with dishes that pair with beer and showcase the flavors of Iwate.
There is also an added perk: if you complete a free registration on Peatix in advance, you will receive 100 yen off your first drink and 100 yen off food. It is set up so you can simply stop by for a drink, while also enjoying a slightly better deal through advance registration.
The highlight is the eve-event-only premium program, "Sales Manager Tsukasa's Maniac Brewery Tour + 60 Minutes of All-You-Can-Drink." Each session is limited to 10 people, with three sessions scheduled: A from 10:30, B from 12:00, and C from 1:30 p.m. The participation fee is 2,000 yen including tax, payable on site on the day. With its small-group format, it is aimed at people who want to carefully experience the atmosphere of the brewery and Baeren’s craftmanship.
Baeren Brewery is based in Kitayama, Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture. Using a brew house that was moved from Germany more than 100 years ago, it continues to preserve the approach to brewing beer from that era. Centered on classic lager, the company has long valued tradition and handcraftsmanship, and this eve celebration is likely to offer another opportunity to experience that world firsthand.
