Far Yeast Brewing Co., Ltd. began offering "Onegai Si Muscat Brut" exclusively at Far Yeast Tokyo (Nishi-Gotanda, Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo) starting Wednesday, February 25, 2026. The style is described as "Brut IPA with Muscat." It will not be sold in cans, and is being served only as 15L keg beer.

Balancing "dryness" and "fruit character" in the beer's design

According to the company’s announcement, fermentation is carried out with a clean yeast and enzymes to create a light, dry body typical of Brut IPA. In addition, muscat is added in the later stage of fermentation, leaving a juicy aroma and flavor. The hops used are Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand, layering in an aroma reminiscent of white wine.

The published specs are ABV 6.5% and IBU 20. The ingredients are malt (produced in Belgium and Germany), muscat juice, and hops. With a bright aroma front and center and restrained bitterness, it appears designed to be easy to enjoy with food.

A limited release brewed at the brewery in Kosuge Village, Yamanashi

The production site is Genryu Brewery in Kosuge Village, Kitatsuru District, Yamanashi Prefecture. Far Yeast Brewing launched the brewery in 2017 and moved its headquarters functions to Kosuge Village in 2020. According to official information, Kosuge Village is said to offer an environment well suited to brewing, thanks to its cold climate and water from the Tama River headwaters.

"Onegai Si Muscat Brut" is positioned as a locally limited beer experience at the company’s directly operated Gotanda location, backed by the production base at Genryu Brewery. Pairing offerings are also planned at the store, making it worth watching how the Brut IPA’s dryness and muscat aroma will complement the food.
