Yokohama Bay Brewing Yokohama Front announced a new menu item for Friday, October 2, 2026: “Special Sauce Currywurst with Fried Potatoes.” The dish recreates a classic German street-food staple in time with the Oktoberfest taking place at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse.
Crispy fried sausage is topped with the pub’s house curry sauce. The sauce is described as mild enough for guests who do not usually enjoy spicy food. The side dish has also been renewed, with freshly fried potatoes accompanying the currywurst.
The pub recommends pairing the dish with Bay Hell, a German-style beer from Yokohama Bay Brewing. Its clean lager character should make a natural match for the savory sausage, curry sauce, and potatoes.
A broad tap selection
The announced tap list includes Bay Pilsner, Saaz419, Tag Lager, Pilsner Urquell, Bay Dark, Bay Weiss, Yuzu Weiss, Weekend Journey, Classic Is New, Team Up IPA, and Heavy Climb.

Gin event on October 8
On Thursday, October 8, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., Masato Mineo will visit the pub. Mineo formerly worked in distilling at Bay Brewing and is now the representative and distiller of OTARU DistiLibrary. He will serve gin from behind the bar, while Yokohama Front plans to offer food designed to pair with it. Food orders end at 10 p.m., and drink orders end at 10:30 p.m.
