Far Yeast Brewing announced on Instagram the grand opening of its new base in Kosuge Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, “THE FAR YEAST Beer Adventure.” The opening date is Saturday, March 28, 2026. The venue will open at 11:00, and a collaboration beer release party is also scheduled to begin at 16:00.

The main highlight of the post is the 16 self-tap stations. Using a dedicated card, guests can pour beer while adjusting the amount in 1 ml increments, making it easy to sample a variety of labels in small amounts. The food lineup centers on burgers made with locally sourced specialty ingredients, with the menu designed specifically for pairing with beer. Its location next to the Kosuge roadside station also makes it easy to enjoy food, drinks, and local sightseeing together.

On the same day, as a collaboration with “OSS CLOTHING” in Otsuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture (LINKAGE Co., Ltd.), the brewery says it will open a limited-batch “Yuri Beer” on a special tap. With music programming included, the event is shaping up to be more than just a new store opening, and more like a culture-focused event.

In the background, Far Yeast Brewing’s source brewery is located in Kosuge Village. According to company information, it was established there in 2017, and the company’s headquarters were also moved to the same area in 2020. The brewery has built its work around the water of the Tamagawa headwaters region and the area’s cold climate. This new base appears to expand that local character into something people can not only “drink,” but also “experience.”

For people mainly interested in tasting craft beers side by side, and for those who want to enjoy Yamanashi’s food and nature all at once, March 28 is a date worth keeping on the calendar.
