Moji Port Beer Factory announced on Instagram that it will participate in the Wasshoi Hyakuman Summer Festival. The announcement was published on September 18, one day before the festival begins, inviting beer fans to join the celebrations in Kitakyushu.

The 39th edition of the festival will be held on Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20, 2026. Events will take place around Komoji Street, Kokura Castle, and Katsuyama Park in Kokura Kita Ward. The city’s major civic festival brings together traditional floats and parades, dance performances, live music, fireworks, and food stalls.

According to the festival’s official food guide, Moji Port Beer is scheduled to appear in the “Ichigo Ichishoku” area. The section will feature local food and drink vendors, including yakisoba-style Kokura yaki-udon, sushi, matcha tea, and ice cream. The food areas are scheduled to operate from noon until 9 p.m. on both days. Vendor details and product availability may change, so visitors should check the latest announcements before attending.

Based in Higashiminatocho, Moji Ward, Kitakyushu, Moji Port Beer Factory produces a range of beers including Weizen, Pale Ale, Sakura Beer, and Pilsner. Its official website also highlights limited releases available at different times. The brewery’s restaurant offers an opportunity to pair its beers with food, making the festival appearance a natural extension of its local, food-focused identity.

For visitors exploring the festival grounds, a glass of Moji Port Beer could be a fitting way to experience Kitakyushu’s food culture and festive atmosphere in one stop.
