Baeren Brewery Starts Ticket Sales for Kassen Ofunato Beer Fest on May 24
Baeren Brewery in Morioka, Iwate, has started ticket sales for “Baeren Beer Fest in Kassen Ofunato,” to be held on May 24 at Kassen Ofunato (Sennen Hiroba) in Ofunato City. In addition to all-you-can-drink Baeren beer, Sanriku Beer is also scheduled to have a booth.
Morioka-based Baeren Brewery has updated its announcement for the beer event it will hold in Ofunato City. The venue is Kassen Ofunato (Sennen Hiroba), a six-minute walk from Ofunato Station. The event will be held on Sunday, May 24, from 12:00 to 16:00, with doors opening at 11:30.
The main highlight this time is a straightforward setup: up to 4 hours of all-you-can-drink Baeren beer. On top of that, “Sanriku Beer,” which only opened last December, will also have a booth. The ticket price includes the cost of one drink from Sanriku Beer, making it a chance to compare it with Baeren’s staple offerings.
Advance tickets are 3,200 yen including tax, or 3,520 yen through the Peatix app. Same-day tickets are 4,100 yen including tax. Tickets are available at the Kassen Ofunato office in Ofunato City, the Sun-Ria information desk, the Ofunato Tourism and Products Association, the Kassen Dining Association, Okitsubaki Civic General Store, and Abbasse Takata, as well as at Baeren’s factory direct store in Morioka, Beer Base Baeren Morioka Ekimae, Beer Front Baeren Morioka Ekimae, Beer Bar Baeren Nakanohashi, Saien Microbrewery, and Beer Pub Baeren Zaimokucho.
Baeren Brewery is one of the breweries that has long supported Iwate’s craft beer culture. This event in coastal Ofunato is also drawing attention as a place to enjoy the connection between local breweries and the pairing of food and beer. Food vendors are also planned, making it an event where you can enjoy a drink while feeling the sea breeze on a weekend in May.
