Grand Line Brewing Releases Three-Way Collaboration Golden Stout 'MORE GRIND'
Grand Line Brewing in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, will release a new triple-name beer, 'MORE GRIND,' in collaboration with Gangi Brewing (Niigata) and ONE MORE BEER (Tokyo). With a golden appearance and a stout flavor, this distinctive beer will be sold nationwide from May 23.
A golden look with the flavor of a stout
Grand Line Brewing, which is based in Yokosuka and proposes new ways to enjoy craft beer, has announced a new collaboration beer, 'MORE GRIND'. This time, the partners are Gangi Brewing (Niigata) and ONE MORE BEER (Tokyo). As a triple-name project by three companies with different personalities, it will be released on May 23, 2026.
The beer style is Golden Stout. Unlike the “black stout” one might imagine from the product name and appearance, it has a vivid, golden shine to its exterior, while the flavor brings out coffee and cacao aromas. With an alcohol content of 5.0%, it is designed to balance lightness with drinkability.
The intention behind the name
The name 'MORE GRIND' combines the idea of a coffee grinder with the meaning of “crushing” rigid industry hierarchies and existing values. The label design also combines the alphabet elements of the three companies, while deliberately leaving out the letter “A,” expressing a stance of creating a new standard with their own hands rather than accepting one decided by someone else.
Gangi Brewing is a brewery that began brewing in Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture in August 2023, and it promotes the idea of “drinkability without drinking fatigue.” ONE MORE BEER, meanwhile, is participating as a brand with its own distinctive message. This collaboration is said to be a spontaneous project that started from a personal connection.
Unveiled at a coffee event
The release will be showcased at 'NIIGATA COFFEE FESTIVAL 2026', held on May 23 and 24, 2026. The venue is Aore Nagaoka, the City Hall Plaza in Nagaoka, Niigata Prefecture, and in keeping with an event centered on coffee, the beer also incorporates flavors reminiscent of coffee and chocolate.
Grand Line Brewing is a brewery that has been proposing next-generation craft beer experiences from Yokosuka. This 'MORE GRIND' looks set to embody that approach through collaboration. It will be rolled out sequentially at beer bars, dining establishments, and liquor shops nationwide.
