Grandline Brewing, a craft brewery based in Yokosuka, Kanagawa, announced that two of its beers won gold at The International Beer Cup 2026, held from October 3 to 6, 2026, at Congress Square Haneda in Ota, Tokyo.

KANPAI YOKOSUKA received gold in the American-Style Strong Pale Ale category, while SUPERMERGE was awarded gold in the Emerging India Pale Ale category. The two medals represent a double category-champion result for the brewery across two distinct beer styles.

The competition featured 1,459 beer entries from 21 countries and regions, submitted by 374 entrants. A total of 100 judges took part, including 61 judges from outside Japan, representing 25 countries and regions. The results place two beers from Yokosuka among the top entries in an internationally staffed judging program.

KANPAI YOKOSUKA is an American IPA released as part of Grandline Brewing’s third-anniversary lineup. It is available in a 330ml format at 7.0% ABV. SUPERMERGE is a Brut IPA in a 330ml format at 6.5% ABV. Their recognition in separate categories highlights the brewery’s range across different IPA-oriented expressions.

Grandline Brewing opened in October 2023 and operates from Yokosuka, developing beers across styles including IPA, Hazy IPA, lager and pale ale. The brewery credited its brewers and supporters for the awards and described the result as part of its fourth year of pursuing new beer adventures.
