Naginone Brewing, based in Kushima, Miyazaki, has announced a second batch of its limited beer SHIRANUI 2026. According to the brewery’s post, the new batch is being brewed in response to strong interest from drinkers, and completion is planned for mid-July.
This beer is built around fully ripe shiranui citrus from Ishigami Farm in the Toi area of Kushima, lemongrass from Honnoka Farm, and the delicate character created through bottle conditioning. The brewery notes that the beer is labor-intensive to make: it requires sorting the citrus, peeling it by hand, and using the peel as part of the process. Because of that, the new batch will be only about half the size of the previous one.
Even so, the brewery decided to brew it again after receiving messages asking whether the beer was already gone and whether another batch would follow. The post makes clear that the goal is to bring the beer to more people who were unable to get it the first time.
Naginone Brewing is a small brewery operating from the former Yabiko nursery school site in Oharu, Kushima. The brewery focuses on handcrafted, bottle-conditioned beer. SHIRANUI 2026 reflects that approach well, combining local citrus, herbs, and careful bottle maturation into a beer closely tied to its place of origin.
