Lineup for May 4

The craft beer specialty shop "Sanity" in Sangenjaya will be open from 14:00 to 22:00 on May 4. With a holiday schedule and a 2 p.m. opening, it will be a day suited to anyone who wants to enjoy beer from the afternoon.

The first highlight of the day is SETOKA2026 from Miyazaki's Nagi no Oto Brewing. The beer is brewed by hand-peeling fully ripe setoka oranges one by one, turning the flesh into juice and adding it to the brew. The peel and pulp left from squeezing are also used in the steeping process. It is described as going beyond the framework of beer, with a nuance somewhat like orange wine, and as juicy and rich while keeping sweetness restrained.

Next is OHAYO! from Kanagawa's PASSIFIC BREWING. This is the sixth batch of a collaboration beer with EENY, presented as a pop, bright, hoppy saison that makes you want to drink it from the morning. It carries impressions of lemon and herbs, and offers a light drinking experience with satisfying depth. It is the kind of beer that will interest anyone looking for a balance of liveliness and aroma.

Also arriving from BREAK EDGE BEER WORKS in Hiroshima are two bottled beers. One is a clean, gulpable IPL fermented slowly with lager yeast, and the other is a Hazy IPA made only with American hops, bringing forward a fruity, pine-like character. Being able to enjoy both draft and bottle is very much in keeping with Sanity's identity as a beer pub.

The shop is located on the first floor of Sakae-dori Building, 1-chome Sangenjaya, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo. In addition to the rotating guest beers, notices related to anniversary events are also on display, giving local beer fans multiple reasons to stop by. With a lineup of clearly defined flavor profiles, it is a day that makes it easy to choose according to your mood, from citrusy fruitiness to a light saison to bottled IPA.
