Naginone Brewing, based in Kushima City, Miyazaki, will make its first appearance at Daimaru Fukuoka Tenjin's 6th "Atsui ze! Miyazaki Expo," running from August 19 to 24. Founded in 2025 as Kushima City's first craft brewery, the maker operates out of a former nursery building and brews in a hands-on, small-scale style.

The featured beer is GREEN CHILI, released under the collaboration label Michi-no-Eki Kushima x Naginone Brewing. It is described as combining the bright aroma and firm heat of green chili peppers with the soft malt sweetness and hop aroma of beer. The bottle is priced at 1,200 yen, and the pairing is aimed at grilled meat, gyoza, fried chicken, and other spice-forward dishes.

The Fukuoka department-store event gives the brewery a chance to introduce a locally rooted beer from southern Miyazaki to a wider audience. Naginone Brewing has built its identity around handcrafted brewing and a strong sense of place, and this debut adds another stage for that approach.

The venue will also feature other Miyazaki food items, making the event a place where beer and food can be enjoyed together. It will be worth watching how this regional brewery is received in Hakata.
