Three New Beers Arrive at Sangenjaya Sanity, Tyson Pizza POP-UP on 3/26
In a March 24 post, craft beer specialty shop Sangenjaya Sanity announced the arrival and tapping of Naginooto Brewing's "Yamabiko Ale," Yorocco's "Sky Walker IPA," and Field Ale Brewery's "Pint." It also announced late-March event plans, including the Tyson Pizza POP-UP on March 26.
The beer pub "Craft Beer Specialty Shop Sangenjaya Sanity" on Sakae-dori in Sangenjaya has released its operating information and new beer arrivals for the latter half of March. True to the shop's style of opening from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on weekdays, making it easy to stop by after work, this lineup is packed with beers to enjoy with food.
The highlight this time is three labels with distinct personalities. First is "Yamabiko Ale" from Naginooto Brewing in Kushima, Miyazaki Prefecture. The post highlights its lemongrass aroma, gentle grain sweetness, and the changing character brought by bottle-conditioned secondary fermentation, making it a beer for those who want to take their time exploring delicate flavors and aromas.
Next is Yorocco's "Sky Walker IPA" from Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture. It is introduced as a classic IPA that layers tropical/citrus hop character over the smoothness of pilsner malt and wheat malt, with a subtle pine note. Designed to be easy to drink without fatigue, it suits both the first glass and the second.
Also on tap is Field Ale Brewery's "Pint" from Shinano Town, Nagano Prefecture. The post describes it as a pale ale designed for casual enjoyment in town, with a crisp flavor that is simple yet layered. As the name suggests, it's a beer that makes you want to enjoy a full pint.
On the food side, Tyson Pizza POP-UP is scheduled for March 26. The lineup includes this month's final "firefly squid and rapeseed blossom pizza," making it easy to plan an evening centered on beer and pizza. In addition, Novel Craft's TAP TAKE OVER is set for March 28, and L&B Sandwiches POP-UP is scheduled for March 31, creating a late-March lineup that feels very much like Sanity's style of letting you enjoy multiple things in one place.
