Far Yeast Brewing (Kosuge Village, Yamanashi Prefecture) will begin sequential shipments of its limited beer "Far Yeast noon moon" from May 20 to liquor retailers nationwide, beer bars, restaurants, and the official online store. This release is a re-brew of the same product that debuted in 2023, making it the first in two years.

The company brews in Kosuge Village, located in the headwaters of the Tama River, where the surrounding area offers opportunities to enjoy nature through camping, hiking, BBQ, fishing, and more. "Far Yeast noon moon" was born from that setting and was planned as a beer meant for drinking outdoors in the daytime. It was well received at local roadside stations, liquor shops, campgrounds, and outdoor-focused beer bars, which led to this return.

The style is American Pale Ale, with 4.5% alcohol by volume and 20 IBU. Using six hop varieties - Citra, Comet, Centennial, Mosaic Cryo, Mosaic Dynaboost, and Citra Dynaboost - and adjusting the timing of additions, the beer is designed to build on floral, herbal, and woody impressions while also bringing out citrus and tropical aromas. Another feature is that the bitterness has been slightly reduced from the previous release, creating a lighter body.

This product also features an original "BACK TO RIVER" label tied to efforts to protect rivers and natural environments. A portion of sales will be donated. As an easygoing beer to enjoy in nature, this limited release reflects Far Yeast Brewing's sense of place and environmental perspective.
