Background on Hideji Beer

Hideji Beer is a craft beer maker based in Nobeoka, Miyazaki Prefecture. At the foot of Mount Mukabaki in the Sobo-Katamuki Quasi-National Park, it continues brewing beer with high-quality natural water and its own cultured yeast. On its official website, the company promotes itself as a 'glocal craft beer brewery' brewed by local communities and craftsmen, and in its beer-making it emphasizes a balance between drinkability and individuality.

Its ties to the region run deep. In Nobeoka, there is also 'Nobeoka Sanzo,' a collaboration among three breweries producing sake, shochu, and craft beer, and Hideji Beer has been involved not only in event booths but also in local activities. This booth in front of Hakata Station will give the Miyazaki brewery a chance to join a spring event in Kyushu and deliver its beer amid the city's bustle.
