Nutori Brewing will host a Kanda Hinomaru kōdan event on Wednesday, Aug. 26 at 7:00 p.m. at its in-house beer hall, Bii-ru Shokudo Nutori. Tickets are 2,000 yen plus a drink, cash only, and reservations are being accepted at the venue.

The featured beer is the collaboration coffee porter `Bakushu Yako: Hyakki no Kuro`. Nutori says the final keg has been saved for this date, so the evening is clearly designed as a pairing of spoken storytelling and beer. In Hinomaru's comment, the beer is described as part of an eight-stop ghost-story tour, with Nutori serving as the final stop as sponsor.

Nutori Brewing is based in Kawaguchi, Saitama. It brews a wide range of house beers in small tanks inside a renovated 50-year-old apartment, and its attached dining room serves jiyo meshi, dishes made to pair with the brewery's beers. The company frames its concept as creating a place where people can find nourishment, discovery, and connection.

The collaboration beer also uses coffee beans roasted by Ryoke Green Gables in Ageo, Saitama, adding a coffee aroma intended to linger after the kōdan performance. For beer fans nearby, this is a straightforward example of how Nutori keeps blending brewing, food, radio, and local culture into one venue.
