Y Market Brewing began brewing in 2014 as the first craft brewery in Nagoya City. From the Yanagibashi Central Wholesale Market area near Nagoya Station, it has been releasing a wide range of beers meant to be enjoyed with food.

This "12 DA CAPO" is a Kölsch designed as the 12th-anniversary beer for the directly operated Y Market Brewing Kitchen. The theme is "a beer you want to keep ordering again and again." The recipe was built around the Kölsch style, which can balance lightness and drinkability, with the goal of creating a beer worthy of the milestone.

Poured into a glass, it is striking for its clear, bright gold color. The body is light, and a sweet-and-bitter aroma reminiscent of orange peel rises from the US Elani hops used. A gentle honey-like malt character layers on top, along with floral nuances. Bitterness is restrained, but the finish lingers pleasantly and for a long time.

ABV is 4.5%, and IBU is 18.24. Centered on brisk drinkability, it is finished so that the more you drink it, the more its flavors reveal themselves, making it easy to pair with meals. The name "Da Capo" is a musical direction indicating that you return to the beginning of the score and play it again. The anniversary event's wish that people toast repeatedly and again is carried directly into the beer's name.
