Far Yeast Brewing will hold a collaboration event with the izakaya "High Spirits" in Fujikawaguchiko, Yamanashi, starting at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 19.

This project commemorates the decision to produce the film "Blindeye Jenkins," based on the autobiographical story of the restaurant's owner, Takeshi Natori. At the venue, Far Yeast Brewing will hold a release party for its beer "Root Note." A taco party is planned on the first floor, while live music and a jam session are scheduled on the second floor. The novel on which the film is based will also be sold with autographs.

The post describes "Root Note" as a special beer that uses makomo and hemp (CBD), ingredients that have long been valued in Japan, to express Natori's roots of "forest" and "blues." Far Yeast Brewing, which operates its Genryu Brewery in Kosuge Village, Yamanashi, has made a name for itself not only through its core brands but also through limited releases and collaborations that make use of local ingredients. This time as well, the project combines a sense of place with storytelling.

This event, which brings together Yamanashi's nature, a local shop, and beer in one place, seems like a collaboration very much in the spirit of Far Yeast Brewing.
