Yatsugatake Brewery is based in Kiyosato, Hokuto City, Yamanashi. On its official site, the brewery describes its approach as using the clear natural water of the Yatsugatake foothills at an elevation of 1,230 meters, with a focus on bringing out the richness and umami of malt. Founded in 1997, the brewery has long centered its work on the Touchdown brand, especially its lager tradition. This TTO gives drinkers in Fukushima a chance to experience that malt-forward style at the source of the pour.
