A seasonal brew that reflects the onset of spring

A spring-only white ale is joining the "Bière de Raiden Seasonal-Brew Beer" series from Oh!la!ho Beer. The release date is Thursday, February 19, 2026. According to the brewery, the beer was designed around the image of a period when the harsh cold gradually eases, centering on the smooth texture of wheat malt and the aroma of Citra hops, which evokes citrus and herbs.

The product will be available in two formats: a 350 ml can and a 10 L keg. It has an alcohol content of 5%, and the ingredients are malt (produced in the UK and Germany) and hops. The suggested retail price for the 350 ml can is 368 yen before tax, and it is scheduled to roll out gradually at supermarkets and other retailers nationwide.

A design philosophy of enjoying the four seasons

This seasonal-brew series is a seasonal lineup built around the concept of "enjoying Japan's four seasons and seasonal flavors." It consists of a spring white ale, summer Weizen, autumn IPA, and winter porter, and is intended not only for drinking on its own but also for pairing with meals. The goal is to further highlight the distinctive aromas and flavors of craft beer through its compatibility with food.

Tohmi's climate and the brewing foundation built over time

Oh!la!ho Beer was founded in 1996 in Tohmi City, Nagano Prefecture. Starting from regional revitalization, the brewery has built its brand around ale-based brewing. Tohmi City has long hours of sunshine and low rainfall, and the company began cultivating hops on its own in 2010. Then, in 2020, it expanded its facilities and overhauled its production system. With both core and limited-time products working in tandem, it has established a system for bringing craft beer from the region to the rest of the country.

This spring-brew white ale can be seen as a beer where the company’s seasonal proposals and brewing foundation come together. For anyone looking for a light aroma and a gentle drinking experience at the spring table, this is a new release worth noting.
