Far Yeast to Open New Base in Kosuge Village on March 28, with OSS Collaboration Beer Unveiling
Far Yeast Brewing announced that its new base in Kosuge Village, Yamanashi, “THE FAR YEAST Beer Adventure,” will grand open on March 28, 2026. A release party for a collaboration beer with OSS CLOTHING of nearby Otsuki City will also be held from 4:00 p.m. that day.
A post on the official Instagram account of Far Yeast Brewing’s Source Brewery announced the grand opening date for the experiential restaurant “THE FAR YEAST Beer Adventure.” The opening day is Saturday, March 28, 2026. The post also says the space and menu were refined after a pre-opening period.
The facility is built around nine kinds of hamburgers and 16 kinds of craft beer. It also highlights a self-tap pouring experience, making it a “hands-on” destination that is about more than just drinking. On opening day, service begins at 11:00 a.m., and a collaboration beer release party is scheduled from 4:00 p.m.
This time’s collaboration partner is OSS CLOTHING (LINKAGE Co., Ltd.), based in Otsuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture. According to the post, the limited-brew collaboration beer will be released that day, inspired by the yamayuri lily, the official flower of Otsuki City, based on the idea of “let’s make a beer that becomes a specialty of Otsuki.” The party will also feature a special TAP opening.
The venue is 3462 Kosuge Village, Kitatsuru District, Yamanashi Prefecture. Business hours are 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (last order at 5:00 p.m.), and it is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Far Yeast Brewing has continuously pursued limited-batch brews that incorporate Yamanashi agricultural products and local collaborations, and this project strongly reflects that approach as well.
As a new base where craft beer, food, and local culture can all be enjoyed together, a new destination is being added to Yamanashi’s beer scene.
