Gangi Brewing to Host a Parking Lot Beer Garden on May 2 and 3
Gangi Brewing in Joetsu, Niigata, will hold its first event of 2026, "Beer Garden in the Parking Lot," on May 2 and 3. Admission is free and no reservation is required. It will be a two-day event where visitors can enjoy food vendors alongside craft beer.
In Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture, Gangi Brewing will hold the event "Beer Garden in the Parking Lot" in the store parking lot during Golden Week on Saturday, May 2, and Sunday, May 3. The venue is 16-4 Yamato 2-chome, Joetsu City, and admission is free, with no reservation required. It is being announced as the brewery's first event of 2026.
The brewery was founded in August 2023 and is a craft beer brewery located about a 10-minute walk from the East Exit of Joetsu-Myoko Station. In addition to its easy access from the station, it also has parking, so the event should be easy for not only local customers but also visitors from nearby areas to stop by.
At this event, several food and retail vendors will appear alongside the beer. On May 2:

Both days run from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The announcement asks visitors to bring a reusable cup, and says cups can also be purchased on the day if you don't have one. If coming by car, visitors are asked to avoid parking on the street or at nearby businesses, and to use nearby paid parking lots. Bringing food or drink from outside the venue is generally not allowed, smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas, and drunk driving is strictly prohibited.
In the early summer season, the event is set up to let visitors enjoy the brewery's beer together with local food, making it Gangi Brewing's first event of the season and one to watch.
