A wide-ranging draft lineup in Kokubunji

Beer Cafe Gambrinus, a craft beer pub located on the sixth floor of the 46th Tokyo Building near Kokubunji Station, will operate normally on September 21, 2026. The pub is scheduled to open at 3:00 p.m. and close at 1:00 a.m., with last orders at 11:00 p.m. for food and midnight for drinks.

The day’s featured opening is Keyaki Anthem, a Hazy IPA from U.B.P Brewery in Saitama. Its hop-forward, juicy style makes it a natural choice for drinkers looking for an aromatic IPA.

The taps also include Osaru IPA from Minoh Beer, served on hand pump; Outsider’s Märzen from Yamanashi; Cooling Break, a Cold IPA from Kakegawa Farm; and Northwest Pale Ale from Craft Beer Base in Osaka.

Darker and more distinctive options include Lighthouse, a Micro Porter from Nara Brewing, and Craft Beer Base Imperial Stout. Minoh Beer Double IPA and Shiga Kogen Beer’s Ikkyo Ryotoku, a Hazy Belgian IPA, add further variety. Choryo Craft Beer contributes Wakyō, a sake-kasu and yuzu white beer.

Refiner Beer’s Pineapple Weizen and Osakeman IPA represent two contrasting styles from Shizuoka, while Pilsner Urquell offers a classic Czech lager option. The lineup covers everything from hazy and West Coast-inspired IPAs to wheat beers, dark ales, fruit-inflected beers, and traditional lager.

Six more beers coming soon

The coming-soon list includes Shirokishi, a Hefeweizen from Kyoto Brewing; Rock Dry-Hopped Weizen from Touchdown; Swan Lake IPA from Swan Lake Beer; Moonlight IPA from Oguna; Prismar, a West Coast IPA from Gangi Brewing; and Umiyuri, a Hazy IPA from Blue Classic.

With so many styles available, Gambrinus is a fitting stop for a relaxed tasting session in Kokubunji. Guests can choose a beer to match their food, mood, or preferred hop profile and work through the lineup one glass at a time.
