Far Yeast Brewing (Kosuge Village, Yamanashi Prefecture) released "Spacia X Blonde No. 1 Car Edition 2nd" on May 2, the second collaboration beer with Tobu Railway’s flagship limited express "Spacia X."

This beer will be served gradually starting today at "GOEN CAFÉ SPACIA X," the cafe counter in Car 1 of Spacia X, and will also be sold at the company’s directly operated shop "Far Yeast Tokyo" in Gotanda and through the official online store. Shipments to liquor retailers, restaurants, and beer bars will begin gradually from May 11, and quantities will be limited.

The product was planned as part of Tobu Railway’s "Cross Beer Project," a co-creation initiative with breweries across Japan. The recipe combines barley malt from Tochigi Prefecture, a blessing from along the railway line, with hops from Yamanashi Prefecture, where Far Yeast Brewing is based, resulting in a golden ale that brings out the character of its ingredients.

The specifications are as follows.

- Style: Golden Ale
- ABV: 5.0%
- IBU: 12
- Ingredients: Malt (from Tochigi Prefecture), hops, sugars
- Hops used: Chinook, Cascade
- Product category: Beer

Far Yeast Brewing is a brewery based in Kosuge Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, that has actively pursued beer-making and collaborations using local resources. This second release is positioned as an effort to expand the connection between rail travel and craft beer from an onboard experience to in-store sales. Following the response to the first release, this rebrew is likely to draw attention again as a beer to enjoy alongside a trip on Spacia X.
