Choshi Beer and COMMUNE to Open Stalls at the April 19 Choden Spring Festival
On April 19, Choshi Electric Railway will hold a railway event at JR Choshi Station and the Spring Festival at Inubosaki Station Square at the same time. At the Inubosaki Station Square venue, local vendors including sweets shop COMMUNE and Choshi Beer will be lined up.
At the "Choden Spring Festival x Choden Inubosaki Gather" held on Saturday, April 19, food, drinks, and goods inspired by Choshi will gather at Inubosaki Station Square. Among the vendors are sweets shop COMMUNE, Choshi Beer, and various local shops and groups, and live performances are also planned at the venue.
Choshi Beer is a craft beer brand of Choshi Cheers Co., Ltd., based in Choshi City, Chiba Prefecture. On its official website, the company says its logo, modeled after Choshi's first sunrise, carries a message of support for "new beginnings," and it delivers beer from a location where you can feel the sea and wind of Inubosaki Cape.
The company operates "Choshi Beer Inubosaki Taps" on the first floor of Inubosaki Terrace Terrace and "Choshi Beer Tobei Brewery ChoshiGoodBeerCafe" in Kakiwaki-cho. The venue for this event, Inubosaki Station Square, is also located in the same Inubosaki area, making this a festival where Choshi Beer’s role as a bridge between tourism and local food is especially clear.
Because it will be held on the same day as the railway event "Thank You, Siosai 50th Anniversary Railway Festival in Choshi," the area around the station is designed to encourage visitors to roam around. There will also be a giveaway of nure-senbei for those who show a commemorative Choshi Electric Railway ride ticket, making it a day where you can enjoy local flavors and railway festivities together.
