Two new kegs have been tapped at WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE in Inage Kaigan. The highlights are Choshi Beer’s "Ogino Ale," brewed with the participation of Takashi Ogino, and West Coast Brewing’s "Hop-Rhythmic #3." From classics to distinctive styles, the tap lineup is broad and varied.
On Friday at WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE in Inage Kaigan, two new kegs were connected. True to its identity as a craft beer specialty shop, the venue offers not only draft beer, but also bottled and canned beer for takeout.
This time, the spotlight is on Choshi Beer’s "Ogino Ale." It is a beer brewed with the participation of Takashi Ogino, formerly of the Chiba Lotte Marines and now playing for DRACI BRNO in the Czech Republic, and it is available on draft only. Described as an amber ale with a rich amber color, it is characterized by its full aroma and flavor, along with a dry, crisp finish. Customers who order it will also receive a special coaster as a gift.
The other keg is West Coast Brewing’s "Hop-Rhythmic #3." This is the third release in a Hazy IPA series focused on terpenes, with berry at the core and layered notes of muscat grape and citrus. It also adds grassy, dank expressions derived from terpenes, making it a beer that invites you to slowly enjoy its many layers of aroma.
The draft lineup for the day totals nine beers. GUINNESS, KIRIN HEARTLAND, Hoegaarden White, Revision DIPA, Belching Beaver Viva La Beaver, Choshi Beer Ogino Ale, Isekadoya Beer Hop Nyaon 11th Fleet, Firestone Walker DBA, and West Coast Brewing Hop-Rhythmic #3 are all available, offering a wide range from classics to IPA, stout, and hazy IPA. It is a lineup that works both for those who want to compare styles and for those who want to carefully choose one beer to enjoy.
