Two new hazy IPAs in Makuhari

WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE, a craft beer-focused brewery-style bar in Chiba’s Mihama Ward, has announced two new draft releases: Ise Kadoya Beer’s Hop Nyaon No. 13 Fleet and West Coast Brewing’s TDHSSR.

Hop Nyaon No. 13 Fleet is a DDH Hazy IPA at 7.0% ABV and 60 IBU. The source article describes a fresh, juicy tropical-fruit aroma, supported by citrus and stone-fruit notes. A firm hop-derived bitterness adds structure to the beer, making it an appealing choice for drinkers who enjoy expressive aroma and a substantial finish.

West Coast Brewing’s TDHSSR is a TDH Hazy Triple IPA at 9.0% ABV. With its higher alcohol content and triple-IPA format, it offers a more robust option for guests looking for a richer, more intense hazy IPA experience. Tasting the two side by side should highlight the difference in strength and overall balance.

The tap list also includes KIRIN Heartland, Fuller’s London Pride, Night Shift Whirlpool, Beachwood Solar Echo, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, and Night Shift Double Parked DIPA. The selection covers pilsner, bitter ale, hazy pale ale, West Coast IPA, American pale ale, and double IPA styles, giving visitors plenty of room to explore beyond the two new releases.

Located in Takasu, Mihama Ward, MIHAMA BASE is open from 4 p.m. to midnight, with last orders at 11 p.m. for food and 11:30 p.m. for drinks. The venue also announced an October 31 event, “Shimai Eigyo no Hi: Oktoberfest Edition,” featuring limited German beers.
