Choshi Cheers, the company behind Choshi Beer, announced on Instagram that NRT BEER FLIGHT CAFE will open in the post-security area of the connecting corridor on the second floor of Narita Airport Terminal 2. The café opens on June 26 at 10:30 a.m., and Narita Airport Ale, the airport's original craft beer brewed in Choshi, will be served on draft in a permanent location for the first time.

The café will also offer other craft beers, mostly from Chiba Prefecture, giving travelers a chance to sample local beer before boarding. That setup gives beer fans a quick way to experience a range of Chiba-based breweries in one place. Choshi Beer’s official site says the brewery focuses on making beer that pairs with fish from Choshi, and its products have long been rooted in the city’s food culture.

Serving the beer at the airport gives Choshi Beer a new route to reach travelers beyond its hometown. As the brewery continues preparing a new shop in the station area, this airport presence should help expand awareness of the brand among a broader audience.
