Choshi Beer, run by Choshi Cheers in Choshi, Chiba, will join the July 25 edition of “CANAL de Kanpai” at CANAL DINING HALL in BLUE FRONT SHIBAURA. The event brings together breweries from Shibaura, Yokohama, and Choshi for talks, tastings, and finger food.
Choshi Beer, operated by Choshi Cheers, will take part in “CANAL de Kanpai” on Saturday, July 25, at CANAL DINING HALL on the 2nd floor of BLUE FRONT SHIBAURA in Tokyo.
The event is designed around craft beer from three waterfront cities: Shibaura, Yokohama, and Choshi. Visitors will hear talks from brewers, taste six beers from the participating breweries, and enjoy finger food from CANAL DINING HALL. Admission is 5,500 yen, and the session is limited to the first 40 guests with advance reservations.
Based in Choshi, Chiba, Choshi Beer has positioned itself around beer that pairs well with local seafood. That coastal identity is central to the brand, and it gives the brewery a clear regional character that stands out in Japan’s craft-beer scene.
At the event, Choshi Beer’s representative Sato and brewer Murayama are expected to join the program and speak about the brewery’s approach and the appeal of beer from a fish-loving port town. For fans in the Tokyo area, it will be a chance to taste Choshi Beer while hearing directly from the people behind it.
