According to Tambaji Brewery’s official website, the brewery will take part in Beer Barley Harvest Festival 2026 on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The event will be held at the west rotary of JR Sasayamaguchi Station. Planned offerings include beer brewed from barley harvested in Tamba-Sasayama, along with barley-based bagels and chapati, plus coffee, sake, and game dishes. The festival is being presented as a celebration of the barley harvest.
Tambaji Brewery opened in June 2017 in what is now Tamba-Sasayama, Hyogo Prefecture, as a small-scale brewery. Its brewhouse size is 400 liters per batch, with four fermentation tanks. The brewery emphasizes small-batch production and works on a wide range of beer styles. Its attached pub, Terano South, serves fresh house beer and guest beers, along with food designed to pair well with beer.
This appearance reflects Tambaji’s locally rooted approach: barley grown in the region, turned into beer and food, and then shared again in the same community. Because the venue is at a station rotary, it should be easy to stop by while sightseeing in Tamba-Sasayama. Please note that Terano South will open at 7:00 p.m. on June 27.
