Meguro’s THE DODO HOUSE taps Kyoto Brewing’s “Kieta Blanket” on July 23
Craft Beer & Wine THE DODO HOUSE in Meguro published its July 23 tap list. The new keg is Kyoto Brewing’s brett IPA “Kieta Blanket,” described with tropical pineapple and watermelon notes. Six other beers round out the lineup.
On July 23, Craft Beer & Wine THE DODO HOUSE in Meguro reopened after a temporary closure the previous day and announced regular service from 5:00 p.m. to midnight. The bar also noted that bench seating is available without a charge and that takeaway is offered in plastic cups, keeping the experience relaxed and approachable.
The day’s only new tap is Kyoto Brewing’s brett IPA, “Kieta Blanket” ("消えたブランケット"). According to the post, the beer uses wild Brettanomyces yeast and is characterized by aromas of ripe pineapple and watermelon, along with tropical citrus notes. Rather than leaning into the classic funky Brett character, it is presented as a fruit-forward, distinctive IPA.
The rest of the tap list adds six more beers with a wide range of styles and origins:
- Kankiku Brewery x THE DODO HOUSE, “Ifuudoudou”
- Hop Dog Brewing, “Pineapple IPA”
- Tamabuchi Brewery, “Tamba Honey Ale”
- Daisen G Beer, “Yuyuu Gdiki”
- Harvestmoon, “Schwarz”
- Mahou Brew, “Depths of Muspelheim”
THE DODO HOUSE is a Meguro beer pub where craft beer, wine, and food all sit comfortably together. With IPA, honey ale, and schwarz on the board, the lineup offers a clear cross-section of flavors for drinkers who want to compare styles or pair them with a meal. It is the kind of tap list that rewards both a quick stop for a fresh pour and a longer, slower session.
