Craft Beer & Wine THE DODO HOUSE, a beer pub in Shimomeguro, is offering seven craft beers with varied styles and ingredients. The lineup includes “Ifuudoudou,” a collaboration between Kankiku Brewery and THE DODO HOUSE, Minoh Beer’s “Papa Zaru Lager,” and Iwate Kura Beer’s “Japanese Herb Ale Sansho.”

Other taps feature Hokkaido-based Hoppu Kotan Brewing’s “Ihou,” Sierra Nevada Brewing’s “Hazy Little Thing IPA,” Repubrew’s “Fonio Beer,” and “Weizen Master,” a collaboration between Kamado Brewery and Daisen G Beer.

The selection moves from crisp lager and wheat beer to a sansho-infused herb ale, hazy IPA, and a beer made with fonio. It offers beer lovers a chance to compare different approaches to aroma, bitterness, spice, and malt character in one relaxed setting. The shop has also noted that some taps are running low, so guests interested in a particular beer may want to check availability before visiting.

THE DODO HOUSE focuses on Japanese craft beer and also serves domestic wine, spirits, and Japanese-Western fusion dishes. With counter and table seating, it works equally well for a casual after-work pint or a food-and-beer pairing. The pub is located at 2-21-28 Shimomeguro, Meguro, Tokyo.
