Beer pub Eden Tokkyu in Osaka’s Tennoji ward highlighted two draft beers from Tambaji Brewery in its July 20 update. The lineup features locally sourced ingredients from Tamba-Sasayama, including black soybeans and sansho pepper.
Beer pub Eden Tokkyu, located in Karahoricho, Tennoji Ward, Osaka, posted a tap update on July 20 and introduced two draft beers from Tambaji Brewery.
The first is Black Beans Black Lager. Brewed with black soybeans from Tamba-Sasayama, it is a specialty beer with a dark appearance but an easy-drinking profile. At 5.0% ABV and IBU 5, it is set up with very restrained bitterness, making it a good fit for warm weather when drinkability matters.
The second is Sansho Ale. This herb-and-spice beer also uses ingredients from Tamba-Sasayama, this time sansho pepper. It comes in at 5.0% ABV and IBU 16, with a golden-ale base that lets the aroma lead. The peppery, refreshing character gives it a clear identity without pushing too hard.
Eden Tokkyu is a small beer pub in a residential neighborhood, and its counter-centered layout makes it a good place to focus on the beer itself. Rather than chasing gimmicks, the bar leans into local character and straightforward draft service. This tap list fits that style well: two beers, both rooted in regional ingredients, each with a distinct profile that invites side-by-side comparison.
