Tokaido BEER Offers 8 Varieties on Day 2 of Miura Kaigan Beer Festival 2026
On Thursday, April 30, Tokaido BEER is taking part in Day 2 of the ongoing 'Miura Kaigan Beer Festival 2026' in front of Miura Kaigan Station, offering eight beers including IPA, porter, and coffee stout. As a Kawasaki-based brewery, it has assembled a diverse range of styles to match the lively atmosphere of the venue.
Tokaido BEER, based in Kawasaki Ward, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa, appeared on the second day of Miura Kaigan Beer Festival 2026. According to the brewery's official Instagram, the Miura Kaigan Station venue was busy with visitors after the 13:00 start on Thursday, April 30, and Tokaido BEER had prepared eight kinds of beer to help liven up the event.
The brewery uses its official site to promote the phrase "This beer contains KAWASAKI.", expressing an approach that layers the character of places such as Kawasaki-juku, the city, and its factories into its beer. While it puts local identity front and center, its range of styles is broad, and that character is reflected in the event lineup as well.
The beers being poured this time are the following eight:
- 1623 / IPA
- Kuroi Shikan / Porter
- Guava / Hazy IPA
- FRO AGARI YELL / Harb Beer in Lemon
- Kuro ni Ukabu / Coffee Stout
- Kuzumochi Ale / Amber Ale
- Yoi no Iro / Schoch Ale
- Kawasaki BLACK / Black IPA
The venue is set up so visitors can enjoy not only beer, but also the food booths that are uniquely Miura Kaigan, and the event continues for eight days. For Tokaido BEER, it looks like a chance to take Kawasaki's craft beer culture beyond the city and communicate its own character in a seaside event setting.
