KAWASAKI Craft Beer Stand by Tokaido Beer, located in Kawasaki Azalea, the underground shopping area directly connected to Kawasaki Station, had posted an 18-tap lineup as of 6:20 p.m. on Monday, June 1. Its in-house brewery, Tokaido BEER, accounts for nine of the selections, creating a broad lineup ranging from standard IPAs and porters to distinctive beers brewed with coffee and fruit.
The recommendation for the day was Tokaido BEER's No. 5, "Guava." Built as a Fruit Hazy IPA at 5%, the caption describes it as having a "fruity and juicy taste like guava juice." If you're aiming for something light and aromatic, this is an easy place to start.
The Tokaido BEER taps are:
- 1623 / IPA
- Black Slack / Porter
- FRO AGARI YELL / Herb Ale
- Black Floating / Coffee Stout
- Tama Kujuaku / Pale Ale
- Kuzumochi Ale / Amber Ale
- Yo no Iro / Scotch Ale
- UTAMARO ALE / MILK SHAKE IPA
Joining them are Novoru Brewing's "Novoru," HAKUBACRAFT's "Avalanche," TKBREWING's "TeardropAmber," Black Tide Brewing's "HOYA BOYA," OZONE BEER's "Kishimen Damonde," KUNITACHI BREWERY's "1926," Yokohama Beer"'s "Pub Crawl IPA," Shiokaze Blue Lab's "Houka," and ISHINOMAKI HOP WORKS' "Mikaze WHEAT." The selection goes beyond IPA to include Kölsch, Weizen, and English IPA, making it easy to choose according to your mood, from a hoppy pour to something lighter and more refreshing.
The shop serves craft beer and also allows outside food to be brought in. Since you can buy snacks nearby and come in, it works well not only for a quick drink before or after work, but also as a casual base for tasting different beers. On June 13, "HOKKAIDO CRAFT FES 2026" is also scheduled, with a joint project featuring four new breweries from Hokkaido and Tokaido BEER. In the underground area of Kawasaki Station, it is a place that accommodates both everyday use and special events.
