Choshi Beer advances interior work on its new station-front store
Choshi Beer has shared progress on its new store project near Choshi Station. With carpentry now adding a counter and soffit, the station-front venue is moving closer to its grand opening, roughly two months away.
Choshi Beer has shared an update on the construction of its new store in the Choshi Station area. In the post, the brewery said it is now about one month after the crowdfunding campaign ended and roughly two months before the grand opening. Carpentry work has added a counter and a soffit, giving the space a much more finished feel.
Based in Choshi, Chiba, Choshi Beer has built its identity around locally rooted craft beer. On its official site, the brewery highlights beers such as "Choshi Ale," designed to pair with fish from Choshi, and "One for All SMaSH!," the first beer brewed at its Inubosaki facility. That focus on local character has been central to the brewery’s growth.
The station-front store is an extension of that approach. While the brewery’s existing locations have centered on brewing and beer service, the new venue aims to become a place where commuters, visitors, and local regulars can stop by naturally. With daytime cafe service and evening craft beer service planned, the project is designed to add a new kind of everyday stop at the city’s gateway.
