Two New Taps in Ikebukuro East Exit

At "vivo! BEER+DININGBAR" in Higashi-Ikebukuro, Tokyo, Inkhorn Brewing's "Kahu" and Kanpai! Brewing's "Kichijozaka IPA Classic" have been newly put on tap. True to a beer pub that promotes 20 draft beers, these two drinks with very different directions - a hazy IPA and an American IPA - have been added to the lineup at the same time.

"Kahu" is a hazy double IPA that layers sweet fruit notes reminiscent of pineapple and orange with a moderate dank, grassy character and bitterness. Its balance of aroma and bitterness is easy to understand, making it a drink for those seeking richness and intensity.

Meanwhile, "Kichijozaka IPA Classic" is an American IPA with a dry, crisp finish, yet still offers plenty of body. It seems well suited to that first beer of the day when the weather starts to warm up and you want something light to begin with.

A Spot to Enjoy Among 20 Taps

The shop operates in the Ikebukuro East Exit area as a dining bar focused on beer. On Sundays it opens at 3 p.m., making it convenient to choose from draft beers early in the day. In addition to the new taps, the lineup also includes vivo!×CYCAD BREWING's "42~forty two~", Oni Densetsu's "Kinki Pale Ale - Comet Single ver.", Y Market Brewing's "IN-ON-OUT", Devil Craft's "Juice Jam", and more, covering a broad range from IPA and pale ale to stout and cider.

Food options include white balsamic-marinated dishes, potato salad, cold omelets, pizza with shirasu and sakura shrimp, and herb-butter grilled pork fillet, making for an easy-snacking menu between tastings. From April 22 to 26, the venue is also set to celebrate its 16th anniversary with two original beers, commemorative stickers, and rare beer offerings, making this a place worth watching for what comes next.
