Banrinoharu Brewing, which operates a brewery and beer hall in Terauchi-cho, Tondabayashi, Osaka, has begun selling stout as a new canned option. The brewery was created through the renovation of a former sake brewery remaining in a district that once prospered through the brewing industry, and it is characterized by brewing with "golden water" drawn from groundwater fed by the Kongo mountain range.

The newly added stout is said to center on the powerful aroma of roasted malt, with nuances reminiscent of cacao and nuts. It finishes dry yet satisfying to drink, with ABV 5% and IBU 20. Banrinoharu Brewing describes it as a "classic and popular beer from the time of opening," positioning it as one of the core flavors of the brewery.

At the same time, the brewery is listing the beers available for wholesale in kegs as pale ale, amber ale, IPA, Hazy IPA, saison, rye weizen, weizen, stout, and sake ale. The beers available for wholesale in cans are pale ale, weizen, and stout. In addition to a glass enjoyed in the historic atmosphere of Terauchi-cho, the lineup is also easy to choose from as canned beer to savor slowly at home.
