BEER MEETS SPICE

Eni-Bru, a craft beer pub in Nakamozu, Osaka, is running its monthly special fair “BEER MEETS SPICE - The IPA & Asian Food Session -” from June 9 to June 14. The event brings together hop-forward IPAs from Japan and the U.S. with spicy dishes built for pairing.

- Ise Kadoya Beer “Hattrick TDH Hazy IPA”
- Brasserie A Route “IPA III”
- Minamishinshu Beer “STARLIGHT IPA”
- 万里春醸造所 “IPA”
- Nomcraft Brewing “Soloist:Azacca”

Among them, Minamishinshu Beer’s “STARLIGHT IPA” is highlighted as the recommended pour. It is described as the brewery’s first West Coast-style IPA and a draft-only release, with Galaxy and El Dorado hops giving it a clean bitterness and bright aromatics.

Food pairing

- Crispy spice-grilled spareribs
- Spicy fish and chips with cod and yam
- Sichuan-style squid with coriander
- Dukkah-roasted seasonal vegetables
- Harissa gyoza
- House spice curry

The post also names Ushitora Brewery’s “Chobihige IPA Real Ale ver.” as an upcoming arrival. Set in the B1 floor of Il Grandi and just a short walk from Nakamozu Station, Eni-Bru is positioned as a place to spend time with beer and food at an easy pace. Both the beer and the food are limited in quantity and available until sold out.
