Baeren Brewery to host hop harvest thanksgiving event at Shizukuishi factory on August 9
Baeren Brewery will hold its Hop Harvest Thanksgiving event at the Shizukuishi factory on August 9. The program includes freshly poured draft beer, hop-picking experiences, and a free factory tour, with no advance reservation required.
Baeren Brewery is a craft brewery based in Kitayama, Morioka, Iwate. It brews with vintage equipment imported from Germany and has long emphasized local ties. The upcoming "Baeren x Shizukuishi Hop Harvest Thanksgiving" is a summer event built around that relationship with Shizukuishi Town.
The event will be held on Sunday, August 9, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Baeren Shizukuishi Factory (53 Numa-kaeshi, Shizukuishi). Advance reservations are not required. Visitors can enjoy freshly poured draft beer brewed at the Shizukuishi factory, hop-picking experiences, and a free factory tour. Draft beer will be sold at 450 yen per 400 ml cup, and the hop experience costs 500 yen per person. Free shuttle buses will run from Koiwai Station and in front of Shizukuishi Town Hall.
