Far Yeast Brewing to Hold KAITO WACHI Exhibition in Uenohara on April 25
Far Yeast Brewing will hold a solo exhibition by Kaito Wachi, "KAITO WACHI Exhibition," at Miharashi-tei in Uenohara City, Yamanashi Prefecture, on April 25, 2026. In addition to the artwork on display, limited-edition cans and T-shirts will be sold, and draft beer will also be served, allowing visitors to enjoy art and beer together for free.
Far Yeast Brewing will hold Kaito Wachi’s solo exhibition, "KAITO WACHI Exhibition", at the community and coworking space "Miharashi-tei" in Uenohara City, Yamanashi Prefecture, on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 11:00 to 18:00. Admission is free.
In addition to the artwork on display, the venue will also sell limited-edition cans featuring designs by Wachi, and will offer a limited quantity exhibition and sale of original T-shirts. Draft beer will also be available, and visitors can freely enjoy it, including the limited-edition cans, on the terrace in front of Miharashi-tei. Take-home sets and same-day-only sets will also be available.
Kaito Wachi is an artist who lives in Uenohara City, Yamanashi Prefecture, and his work is characterized by intricate drawings done with sign pens and a unique worldview that is psychedelic and pop. As the exhibition title suggests, this event puts the works themselves at the center while also allowing visitors to take home a sense of that worldview through beer and merchandise.
Far Yeast Brewing is a brewery headquartered in Kosuge Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, with its brewing base there as well. Since relocating its headquarters in 2020, the company has focused on co-creation with the local community and on limited-batch brewing. This project is also notable as an effort by a locally rooted brewery to create a space that combines art and beer.
