Booth Overview


Hideji Beer from Nobeoka, Miyazaki, will exhibit as the Kyushu Craft Beer Association (KCBA) at the 4th Oita Craft Beer Garden, held from Friday, April 24 to Sunday, April 26 at the Toyota Corolla Oita Shukusai Plaza in Funai-machi, Oita City. Craft beer breweries from within Oita Prefecture will gather at the venue, and Kirin Beer's "Spring Valley" is also scheduled to participate.

This marks KCBA's first participation, and the lineup will feature breweries from across Kyushu, including Hideji Beer from Miyazaki and ISLAND BREWERY from Iki, Nagasaki. Based in Nobeoka, Miyazaki, Hideji Beer is one of the breweries that has supported Kyushu's craft beer culture. With participation from such a wide area, visitors will be able to compare not only the individual character of breweries within the prefecture, but also the broad differences in brewing styles across Kyushu.

With Hideji Beer from Miyazaki joining the spring beer garden in Oita, visitors will be able to feel both the local, community-based nature of the breweries and the ties that connect Kyushu as a whole. Through a glass at the venue, this event looks set to offer a renewed appreciation of the regional character of craft beer.
