Kawasaki craft brewery Tokaido Beer has introduced two drinks connected to the Kawasaki Brave Thunders’ new arena food lineup, available during home games at Todoroki Arena.

The highlight is THUNDERS BLACK, an imperial stout designed to express the team’s spirit of resilience. Deeply roasted malt brings a pronounced aroma and rich body, creating a bold, full-flavored beer suited to the intensity of a game. It is priced at 950 yen, tax included, and is sold by vendors inside the arena during home games.

THUNDERS BLACK joins THUNDERS LAGER, representing the radiance of victory, and THUNDERS ALE, representing courageous challenges, as part of THE THUNDERS CRAFT SELECTION. The three beers offer different interpretations of the team’s identity and give fans another way to enjoy the atmosphere of game day.

Tokaido Beer and the Kawasaki Brave Thunders also jointly developed THUNDERS CRAFT FREE, a non-alcoholic beer-style beverage. Made with 100% malt and hops, it focuses on malt character and a refreshing hop bitterness. It is priced at 550 yen and is available from Thunders Kitchen in the outdoor Thunders Square area and the first-floor arena lobby. Cans are also sold after games for takeaway.

Tokaido Beer operates a brewery and beer pub in Honcho, Kawasaki Ward, along the historic Tokaido road. Its concept connects Kawasaki’s past, present and future through beer, and the brewery has developed beverages using local ingredients and worked on collaborations with local organizations and sports teams. This project brings together Kawasaki craft beer and professional basketball in a distinctly local arena experience.
