Far Yeast Brewing has announced a limited-batch collaboration brew with the natural roastery Bicycle Coffee Tokyo: Far Yeast Bicycle Coffee Lager. According to the official announcement, shipments to the online store and other channels will begin on Thursday, March 19, 2026. It will be rolled out sequentially to liquor retailers, restaurants, and beer bars nationwide.

This collaboration continues the effort that began with the 2017 Far Yeast Bicycle Coffee IPA, marking a milestone 10th year. As a series, this is the 11th release, and this time the two sides are expressing their ongoing “coffee × beer” experiments in the form of a Coffee Lager.

The base beer is a hoppy lager designed for fruity hop aroma and a crisp finish. To that, Bicycle Coffee Tokyo added its own blend of lightly roasted Ethiopian and Guatemalan beans, creating a design that connects the citrus-like aroma of the beer with the fruit-forward character of the coffee. While preserving the clean character typical of a lager, the beer is said to feature a flavor profile layered with brightness and a gentle sweetness.
