Hideji Beer will hold the 6th RUN & BEER & BBQ on Saturday, August 29, 2026. The event starts at the east rotary of Nobeoka Station and finishes at Hideji Beer’s brewery after a 12.8 km run. A BBQ and beer session follows at the brewery.
Check-in and baggage drop are scheduled from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Beer & BBQ runs from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The entry fee is 8,000 yen and includes insurance, BBQ, all-you-can-drink Hideji Beer, baggage storage at Nobeoka Station, and shuttle transport back to the station after the event. Eligibility is limited to adults 20 and over, and registration closes on August 22, 2026.
The course is a self-supported free run, with no on-course guidance. Participants need to time their own start so they can reach the brewery before BBQ begins. The maximum running time is two hours. Light rain is accepted, but the route may be changed or shortened depending on conditions.
Hideji Beer is based in Nobeoka and brews in a natural setting with views of Mt. Mukabaki. In 2026, the brewery marks its 30th anniversary and continues to present itself under the motto "Think Global, Brew Local." The event reflects that identity well: a run through the local landscape, followed by freshly brewed beer at the source.
