Hansharo Beer, the craft brewery based in Izu no Kuni, Shizuoka, has introduced Yellow Peach Juice, a new limited-edition beer built around the flavor of ripe yellow peaches.

The beer uses golden peaches, a variety known for its vivid yellow skin and flesh, pronounced sweetness, rich aroma, and meltingly juicy texture. The fruit was selected with guidance from Saito Fruits, a produce shop in Mishima known for its expertise in choosing high-quality fruit. The ripe peaches were blended into juice and added during the brewing process.

Yellow Peach Juice is brewed as a Hazy IPA. Sabro forms the center of the hop bill, supported by Citra, Galaxy, Mosaic, Krush Cryo, and Simcoe. This combination is intended to bring together the peach’s ripe fruit character and the citrus and tropical notes associated with American hops. Wheat and oat malt contribute a soft, smooth texture, giving the beer a full and juicy impression.

In the glass, it pours a cloudy, bright yellow. The aroma opens with yellow peach, lemon, and grapefruit, followed by pineapple and mango. On the palate, ripe peach flavor leads into citrus and tropical hop notes, while the soft body keeps the finish smooth. Bitterness remains restrained, allowing the peach character to linger.

The beer has an alcohol content of 6.5% and is available in 330ml bottles, as well as 10-liter and 15-liter kegs. The brewery suggests pairing it with roast duck served with balsamic sauce, whose savory richness and acidity can complement the beer’s fruit-forward profile.

Hansharo Beer is produced by Kuraya Narusawa beside the UNESCO World Heritage site of Nirayama Reverberatory Furnace in Izu no Kuni. The brewery offers a broad range of beers, from core releases to seasonal specialties. Yellow Peach Juice continues that approach by combining locally connected fruit expertise with the soft, aromatic character of a modern Hazy IPA.
