A limited Weizen built around fruit and floral aromas

Hansharo Beer has released “BLOOM RIOT,” a limited fruity Weizen combining raspberry and hibiscus. Raspberry brings a bright sweet-and-tart fruit character, while hibiscus adds floral nuances to the aroma and overall impression.

The beer is designed to appeal both visually and aromatically, with a vivid character reminiscent of blooming flowers. Its wheat-malt base provides the soft, gentle mouthfeel associated with Weizen, balancing the sharper fruit notes and keeping the beer light and approachable.

A brewery rooted in Izunokuni

Hansharo Beer is based in Izunokuni, Shizuoka Prefecture. Founded by Kuraya Narusawa in 1997, the brewery continues to make beer near the Nirayama Reverberatory Furnace, a World Heritage site. Alongside its core beers, it regularly develops limited releases featuring seasonal ideas and distinctive ingredients.

“BLOOM RIOT” pairs the rounded texture of a Weizen with the expressive combination of raspberry and hibiscus. It should appeal to drinkers who enjoy fruit-forward beers, floral aromas, or a fresh variation on the classic wheat-beer profile.
