Novoru Brewing unveils collaboration brew 'Nagori' with Fukuoka's STANDard SHOP
Novoru Brewing in Miyazaki City introduced its collaboration beer "Nagori" with Fukuoka craft liquid bar "STANDard SHOP" on Instagram. It is a beer that combines the lightness typical of a Session Hazy IPA with aromas reminiscent of grapefruit and white grapes.
The seventh collaboration brew is "Nagori"
On May 22, 2026, Novoru Brewing introduced its new beer "Nagori" on Instagram. The style is Session Hazy India Pale Ale, and the alcohol content is 4.5%. The hops used are Nelson Sauvin, Riwaka Kief, Motueka, and Citra, and it was brewed as a collaboration with Fukuoka craft liquid bar "STANDard SHOP".
The post explains that the beer layers a bright, lively aroma reminiscent of lime peel with juicy fruit notes evoking grapefruit, along with nuances of white grapes and gooseberries. It is also characterized by a crisp drinking impression while delivering a level of satisfaction that does not feel like 4.5% ABV.
For Novoru Brewing, this is the 7th installment in its emotion series. Following the previous collaboration, "Roman / Non Dry Hopped Pale Ale," this time the brewery says it took on its first "session version of a hazy" beer. Working from its accumulated experience, the team built the recipe while keeping in mind how to balance the lush character associated with hazy beers and the drinkability expected of a session IPA.
Novoru Brewing is a brewery that opened in January 2024 in the Aoi district of Miyazaki City. On its official website, it sets out a mission to "make people happy with the best beer", and while centering on IPA and pale ale, it also works on classic styles such as Helles and Weizen. This "Nagori" seems to be a beer that clearly reflects that design philosophy.
The post presents it as a light, refreshing beer to enjoy just before summer. At this point, there is no mention of a sales start date or a serving start date, so attention is first focusing on the finished result of this collaboration brew.
