The official news announcement lists the release date as March 3, 2026, and says it will be sold in 15L kegs (stainless steel kegs / one-way kegs) and 330ml bottles.
The beer style is Hazy Double IPA, with an ABV of 8.0%. It uses Citra, Mosaic, and El Dorado hops. Built on the smooth texture of oats and wheat, and layered with the gentle sweetness of lactose, the recipe aims for a balance of tropical aroma, fruitiness, and restrained bitterness.
This reboot is positioned not as a one-off revival, but as part of a broader rebuilding of the brand's signature flagship lineup. In response to fan requests, the hop bill and the balance of sweetness and alcohol character were reworked, and improved drinkability is one of its defining traits.
Grandline Brewing is based in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, and opened on October 6, 2023.
