Grandline Brewing to Release 10.0% Hazy Triple IPA “Third Party” for Its 3rd Anniversary
Yokosuka-based Grandline Brewing will release “Third Party,” a 10.0% Hazy Triple IPA brewed for its third anniversary, on October 3, 2026. Made with the brewery’s largest-ever proportion of wheat and oats, the beer will debut at the anniversary event “KANPAI YOKOSUKA.”
A bold anniversary Hazy Triple IPA
Grandline Brewing has announced “Third Party,” a Hazy Triple IPA brewed to mark the brewery’s third anniversary. At 10.0% ABV, the beer uses the largest amount of wheat and oats in the brewery’s history, aiming for a rich body and a smooth, rounded mouthfeel.
Citra and Nelson Sauvin provide vivid tropical-fruit and citrus aromas. Despite its high alcohol content, the beer is designed to offer a juicy, smooth drinking experience. Its combination of strength and softness makes it a fittingly ambitious release for the anniversary.
A mysterious third-party certification
The name “Third Party” reflects Grandline Brewing’s stated desire to pursue experiences beyond established expectations and conventional standards. Its concept imagines a mysterious third-party organization that certifies quality, popularity, and anticipation beyond their usual limits.
The label artwork was created by illustrator Kenshi. Three armored knights hold three swords that form the Roman numeral “III,” representing the brewery’s third anniversary. Each knight incorporates the character of one of Grandline Brewing’s flagship beers: “Hello, World,” “Super Welcome,” and “Only Impact.” The label also features digital embossing, creating a special finish whose gloss appears differently depending on the viewing angle.
Debuting at “KANPAI YOKOSUKA”
“Third Party” will debut at Grandline Brewing’s “3rd Anniversary Event ‘KANPAI YOKOSUKA,’” held at the brewery on October 3 and 4. The event will run from noon to 9 p.m. on both days. The lineup is expected to include more than 10 taps, featuring “KANPAI YOKOSUKA #03,” “SUPERMERGE,” the latest batch of “Hello, World,” and other beers.
Located about a 12-minute walk from Yokosuka-Chuo Station, Grandline Brewing opened in 2023 and has built its identity around its mission to create more memorable moments of kanpai. “Third Party” brings that three-year journey into a high-strength, visually distinctive anniversary beer.
