Beer Space on Tap in Kobe Taps Yotei Brewing’s EXPDTN Hazy IPA
Beer Space on Tap in Kobe’s Motomachi district has tapped EXPDTN, a 6% Hazy IPA from Hokkaido’s Yotei Brewing. Its tropical hop aroma and creamy mouthfeel join a rotating lineup of eight beers.
Beer Space on Tap, a craft beer pub located in Kobe’s Motomachi district, has announced the tapping of EXPDTN (Expedition) from Hokkaido-based Yotei Brewing.
EXPDTN is a 6% ABV Hazy IPA with an IBU of 20. Built around Citra, El Dorado, and Mosaic hops, it offers an expressive aroma reminiscent of ripe tropical fruit, with impressions of mango, pineapple, and citrus. A silky, creamy texture softens the fruit-forward character, while the bitterness remains smooth and approachable. The beer finishes lightly, leaving a clear hop presence and an easy invitation for the next sip.

The lineup also includes Shiga Kogen Beer’s HOUSE LAGER 3.02 Sankei Nishiki, Noboribetsu Jibeer Onidensetsu’s Sweet Strawberry, CRAFT BEER BASE’s Wu-Xiang Red Ale, Wakayama Brewery’s AGARACRAFT PALE ALE, Hanshiro Biya’s Tropical Hop Weiss, and two beers from Free Spirits Brewing: Roku and Nigimi Arawa.
Together, the selection covers a broad range of styles, from juicy Hazy IPA and crisp lager to fruit beer, red ale, pale ale, wheat beer, and more intensely bitter expressions. It is a lineup suited to both focused tasting and a relaxed session.
Beer Space on Tap is located in the basement of Kobe Plaza Hotel, close to Motomachi Station. The intimate, calm setting makes it easy to stop by alone and take time choosing from the taps. As the selection may change, checking the pub’s latest update before visiting is recommended.
